DESIGN-it Lecture 'RAMS' Film with AUB

Aetha Design are big fans of Dieter Rams. Join the Aetha team and our friends at The Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) in just under a month on the 20th November 2019 to watch the fascinating documentary film 'RAMS'. The film explores the practice of Dieter Rams, one of the most influential designers alive, and examine the 10 "good design" principles.The evening is free to attend and will be held at The Arts Institute. Tom Parsons from Aetha will be part of the panel discussion along with the Dean of Art & Design of Architecture, Dr Christian McLening and Louise Dennis, curator of the Museum of Design in Plastics. There will also be the opportunity to examine some of Rams' historical pieces up close.His work has influenced the way most of today's consumer products look and function. The phone or computer you are reading this on looks the way it does because of Dieter Rams.Drinks and mingling from 5.45pm, Panel Discussion from 6.15pm and film starts at 6.45.Open to industry, general public and students.
